This event eventually evolved to “The 3.29 Event. On March 29th 1989, millions of people who did no possess Macau identity cards gathered at Avenida do Almirante Lacerda and waited for the police’s arrangement to register information at the police headquarters and Macau Yat Yuen Canidrome Co.
